Choosing the right photographer for your family session is personal - you're inviting someone into your life to capture moments that matter. Sessions with me are relaxed, fun, and gently guided, focusing on the bond you share and and the natural moments that happen in your time together with your family. With younger kids, we keep it moving, using playful prompts and easy games so it feels fun, not forced. My approach is mostly connection focused, with a few lightly posed, classic portraits mixed in.

Sessions are available outdoors in Northern VA, Maryland, or DC, in your home, or in studio by request (limited availability). If you feel a connection to my work, I'd be honored for you to book with me and capture this season together.

Show up for your session ready to laugh, have fun, and capture some beautiful moments.

2-4 weeks after your session, you will receive a link to your gallery where you can download all of your images and share with family and friends You will also get a print release and have options to order prints products straight from your gallery.

Kids will be kids and it's totally normal. I'll guide you with simple prompts and movement based games that keeps things relaxed and natural for your family. I'm looking for "connection" not perfection. We will take breaks as needed, and I'll work at your child's pace.

Yes! Grandparents are always welcome, and pets can absolutely join too. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan the session (and choose a pet-friendly location if we're outdoors). If bringing a pet, I also recommend bringing someone not taking photographs to help with your pet for parts of the session.

After booking, I will send you a session guide which will give you tips and ideas on what to wear and how to prepare for the session. In general, choose soft, neutral tones, subtle patterns, and comfy outfits you can move in. If you want, you can text/email me outfit options and I'll help you narrow them down.

Weekends tend to go first, especially in spring and fall. I recommend booking 4-8 weeks ahead when possible and earlier for peak seasons. If you're hoping for a specific date, reach out and I'll tell you what's available.
